HCA Florida Memorial Hospital recently announced that its CEO, Bradley S. Talbert, will relocate to Georgia to serve as CEO of Memorial Health in Savannah, also an HCA Healthcare facility.
Talbert will start in early March at Memorial Health in Savannah, while continuing to assist with the search and onboarding of his replacement in Jacksonville. According to a release, under Talbert’s leadership, Memorial had the highest physician engagement performance in over 13 years in 2022, reaching the 76th percentile nationally. Also, the facility was recently recognized by Healthgrades as a Top 250 hospital in the United States for 2023.
Talbert has also led HCA Florida Memorial Hospital to 5 consecutive “A” Hospital Safety Score Ratings from the Leapfrog Group. HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is part of Florida’s largest health care system, HCA Florida Healthcare, comprising of 49 hospitals. HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville is a full-service, acute care, Level II Trauma hospital with 454 inpatient beds and three freestanding emergency rooms.
