The housing market is down and interest rates are up — way up from a year ago. But more than half of Canadians still believe thatis one of the best investment bets around, says a study for Sotheby’s International Realty Canada.
But among the youngest cohort, Gen Z , only 18 per cent thought real estate was a better investment. Twenty-one per cent of millennials and 23 per cent of Gen Xers thought homes would exceed other investments. “Baby boomers — a lot of them are in their final home. They’ve lived through the cyclical markets whereas the Gen Z and millennials — since they’ve arrived, affordability has been an issue. That has definitely skewed things,” he said.
Realtor says give them more money. Shocking.

It’s because Canadians don’t make anything anymore and there’s a belief that more people are coming and with more people come higher prices
Ongoing housing crisis is not a supply problem, it's supply-DEMAND. Trudeau's unabsorbable 500k/yr immig.ensures relentless new demand prov's&cities cannot supply. Result: unaffordable rents&real estate, subsistence living, financial ruin, homelessness. This is human rights abuse
We remember what you people are.
