RCMP has laid three counts of fraud over $5,000 against a 29-year-old man from Summerside. - FileSUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 29-year-old Summerside man is facing fraud charges in connection with his cottage construction company.
In June 2022, RCMP began investigating the Cottage Company after police received complaints involving three customers who had paid for cottage construction but didn't receive any service.Brandon Lloyd Waite of Summerside Waite was arrested on March 28 in connection and charged with three counts of fraud over $5,000.
Waite was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Summerside provincial court on April 19.
