A regular buyer of Tyrrells potato chips is swearing off the product after an unappetising discovery on Tuesday .said she bought a pack of Tyrrells Lightly Sea Salted Hand-cooked English Crisps from FairPrice Finest at Paya Lebar Quarter."So it was still okay to consume," said the Stomper."This is the first time I experienced such a bad issue.
"I was a big fan of Tyrrells potato crisps and never failed to purchase them when I was travelling. I was a great supporter of the brand until... I opened this packet. "I was shocked to find this – an insect stuck on a piece of crisp. That would halt me from buying this any more.""I trust that FairPrice Finest will look into this. I just want to remind all chip lovers. We know it is not within our control, but just beware before consuming."
In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman for KP Snacks, the British company that owns the Tyrrells brand, said:"At KP Snacks, we take food safety and quality very seriously. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. What does it look like to you?
