A business based in this province will be going in front of the Dragons in an effort to receive a significant investment.will be featured on the upcoming season of Dragons’ Den, showcasing the brand and its message. The business sells clothing and other products for infants, while employing newcomer women looking to enter the province’s workforce.

In 2017, Constanza Safatle started the business after immigrating to Newfoundland and Labrador from Chile, where she worked as a commercial lawyer. Being unable to practice in the province, Safatle started making baby clothes out of her home and selling them at farmers’ markets, before opening a storefront on Cashin Avenue.

Now, following a tradeshow in Toronto that was met with great success, the business is looking to expand, with over twenty wholesalers across six province’s interested in their products. That is why, says Safatle, she turned to the Dragons for help. She says following that success she received an email promoting the show. She says she is “super ready” to give her pitch.

Safatle is confident in what her business is about. She says she’s excited to share their important social enterprise on a national stage.
