The executive chairman of a major restaurant conglomerate made a slip up when he got one of its brands confused with the pizzeria chain he used to lead during a call with investors.
Since November, Patrick Doyle has served as executive chairman of Restaurant Brands International, which owns the quick service brands Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs. "At Domino's in the US, we're focused on easy, making our restaurants easy to run, our food easy to crave, and our products easy to access," Doyle told investors."It was just pointed out to me by a few people that I said Domino's during the script instead of Popeyes," he said. "I'm sending Russell $20 by Venmo to fix that," he continued, seemingly referring to Domino's CEO Russell Weiner."Sorry about that."Subscribe to push notifications
