Du Preez scored the equaliser in a dramatic 2-1 win over Cape Town City in an MTN8 quarter-final clash at Athlone Stadium by finishing off a swift counter-attacking move by the Soweto giants.The 26-year-old's blistering pace is fast-becoming a major weapon for the Glamour Boys against opponents with Du Preez a constant threat in attack.
"I think he's not yet even at 80% [match fitness] because he got injured in our last game against Cape Town City and did not have a full pre-season with us," Ntseki said post-match."So if we're talking about him being at only 70% or 80% just imagine Ash being at 100%. I think he is the best acquisition that we've brought to the club because we were fully aware of his qualities and he is paying that back by getting goals for the team.
