Joe Crowe has welcomed the investment in Carrick Rangers by Michael Smith but insists it is up to the players to do the business on the pitch.Hailing from Portland, Oregon Smith is currently the chief information officer of The Estee Lauder Companies and has previously worked with leading global companies including Nike.Carrick believe Smith's expertise will help bring increased revenue streams to the club.
"We didn't do it last Tuesday night at Crusaders, on Saturday we did, so it's up to us to produce it on a more consistent basis."The impressive transfer business has led to many tipping Carrick to be one of the sides knocking on the door of the top six and a European play-off spot, but Crowe said their only focus is to keep progressing with every game.
