David Mabuza reacted to the disruption of"The Gangster State" book launch in Sandton on Tuesday night.has condemned the disruption of the launch of Pieter-Louis Myburg’s book “Gangster State.”
On a campaign trail in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, Mabuza engaged with community members. He urged people to vote for the ruling party.“That was unnecessary. We condemn it in the strongest terms. The country has got a constitution that allows for freedom of expression, and that right can’t be violated.”
Mabuza also weighed in on party divisions within the ANC in Mpumalanga. Some members of the party in the province took the party to court, calling for the dissolution of the provincial executive committee. “This situation will pass at some stage. We are working towards uniting the organization and as we are heading to the elections, we are hoping that will be resolved.”
Despite the many challenges facing the ruling party, members and supporters are optimistic that it will emerge victorious at the polls.
