NKANDLA - Jacob Zuma said that expelled uMkhonto weSizwe leader, Jabulani Khumalo, had no business trying to represent the organisation in Parliament.
In a wide-ranging interview with Eyewitness News at his Nkandla home in KwaZulu-Natal, the former president said that Khumalo shouldn’t be allowed to serve on behalf of the MK.At the same time, he's taken the organisation to court, claiming that he and not Zuma is the rightful owner of the party.
"He's not in our party, he was chased away. He has the letter, it was written, I gave it to him, he was sitting here when I gave it to him." Zuma said that Khumalo must resign, arguing that the law shouldn't allow someone without a political home to continue serving in the National Assembly. "There’s no parliament that's going to force you with a member that's not in your party. He can go there to show his stupidity."
