Following Baxter’s announcement on Friday, the South African Football Association moved swiftly to announce that Molefi Ntseki had been appointed an interim coach for Bafana.A former national captain, the 52-year-old did previously take charge of South Africa for two matches back in 2012. He admits it is a high-stakes job and has also likened it to being the president of the Republic.for three years from 2015 to 2018.

He says that his experience at Naturena and his ability to deal with the high-stress levels may have been God-sent to prepare him for possibly one day leading Bafana. All Safa’s national teams have not enjoyed the best of years despite qualifying for major championships. Komphela says the mother body needs to create better systems to prevent chopping and changing amongst coaches.coach since readmission to the world stage in 1992, not a good thing according to the Arrows mentor…felt that no coach could rescue South African football unless administrators were able to sort out deeper issues within Safa.

It's obvious we have problems at safa management .They can't think.

Mxm

This is a sign that Bafana is worse than Chiefs

Which army can really call a soldier who fires blanks like Steve Khompela but you go alone than this dictionary, Kaizer chiefs is in this mess because of him

Kompela failed during his tenure at Bafana , let the chance be given to others who cn do better thn him the likes of Benni nd Hunt.

Why using this picture he is no longer coaching chiefs mos y not a Pic from his current team?

Its a joke .. if it’s the truth .. we would rather stay without the national team ...

Why safa doesn't want to appoint Lucas Radebe ?are they scared he won't tolerate their bullying tactics

Except, Bafana is hardly an army. Steve should rather say “if a cash-cow strolls into your yard, you milk it till the owner comes knocking” we all know that SAFA starts sabotaging bafana coaches as soon as they agree terms thus making the appointee eligible for a big payday!

petermoyo6 What did we do to deserve this....😭😱🤔🤔

Eeh hayi Jola Mphankomo, hlalaphantsi siyabulela 👌

Funny the same guy use to refuse Bafana bafana call ups while he was still a player

He must stay away

But he is not a suitable candidate. You need someone who has won trophies and some continental and international experience with national teams.
