Splitting the company in the first place was a mistake. For example, StarTrek wound up in the hands of a company that didn't even like the shows and they have been destroying the franchise. Hopefully this... umm... reunification (🖖) will fix that.

(Sigh) I may not be a Republican, but I do disagree very much with this view. CBS and Viacom are essentially two halves of the same whole being put back together again. This isn’t Disney and Fox.
