'President Ramaphosa must recognise that SA is in deep economic crisis' via SABCNewsOnline

Professor Habib believes that a nuanced economic policy agenda is needed to pluck South Africa out of its economic dilemma.

Wits Vice-Chancellor Professor Adam Habib says President Cyril Ramaphosa must recognise that the country is in trouble and he needs to be honest with South Africans. Habib has suggested a 15-point plan for the President of the governing African National Congress as he prepares to deliver the party’sHe says the party needs to come up with a nuanced economic policy agenda to pluck South Africa out of its economic dilemma.

Professor Habib has also criticised government’s proposed national health coverage, saying the National Health Insurance won’t be sustainable if implemented in its current form.
