White people are nearly half of NYC and therefore should be getting nearly half of vaccinations, all else being equal—and since *only* people at elevated risk (of any skin hue) are getting shots right now, the racial variance stats for overall population you cite do not apply.

It’s terrible that when you are registering to get the Covid-19 vaccine they ask your race. They should provide the vaccine to everyone regardless of race.
