For many decades hydrogen fuel research was just a ponzi scheme sucking in green investors. To me at least, there appeared to be certain natural limits that would never allow hydrogen fuel to ever be viable. The last time i looked was 20 years ago. What changed?

The US military spent billions on hydrogen research to no avail, their is a hydrogen powered truck in the Dakar this year, they put it in its own category labelled as the future Paris to Dak, truth is it that slow and Break down prone compared to the diesels it is days behind.
