Although the immediate cause of the fire outbreak could not be confirmed at the time of filing this report, it was gathered that property worth millions of naira were destroyed in the inferno.SaharaReporters learnt that there was a downpour in the area at the time of filing this report as the emergency unit of the Oyo State Fire Service who confirmed the incident to our reporter on the phone said efforts were still ongoing to put out the fire.

“Men of the fire service are currently at the scene of the incident fighting the inferno. There is no report of any casualty yet,” the emergency responder said on the phone.
