The National Retail Federation also says its preliminary estimate for retail sales growth in 2018 is 4.6 percent, pending the release of December data from the Commerce Department.

who is expected to get that 4.4% bump... high (lux)? mid (walmart)? or low (discounters & dollar stores)? Industry question: is 4.4% revenue increase enough to cover the investment spend needed/in progress by most retailers?
