GEORGE TOWN: Many small-and-medium-sized Malaysian entrepreneurs who are taking part in the China-Asean Expo in Nanning, China, are enjoying brisk business, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka SiongHe said the entrepreneurs had told him that taking part in the expo had yielded positive results and brought them good business.
MCA vice-president and chairman of the Belt and Road Committee Datuk Tan Teik Cheng also led a delegation of 40 people to explore business opportunities at the expo. The delegation comprises those involved in various businesses. Helmed by Ruan Hai, a young well-known entrepreneur in Nanning, the Chinese company had rebranded the durian as"Soft Cat" and exported it to Guangxi, thus penetrating the Nanning market.
