Labour has written to the competition regulator calling for Google’s reported acquisition of Fitbit to be halted, at least until a wider inquiry into anticompetitive practices in the technology sector is completed.
Labour can whine all they want, its 2 American companies. Microsoft had the Band. Apple has a watch. If Google decided to make their own fitness trackers. Fitbit would go under. Looks like a good acquisition to me.
Fitbit should be state owned and record workers movements whilst working for the state. helping
