Australia's bushfire crisis has cost the tourism industry an estimated $4.5 billion.
The Australian Tourism Export Council said all aspects of the industry were affected by poor air quality, safety concerns, and lack of certainty on recovery as the top reasons for overseas visitors cancelling trips.
