News Corp Executive Chairman Michael Miller says although media companies rely on Google to deliver traffic to news content, “we just want to be remunerated for that content that they benefit from”.

Amid a move to accelerate a Mandatory Code of Conduct for tech giants Google and Facebook to pay for Australian news content, Mr Miller said for “two decades business has been built on the back of drawing eyeballs to their sites” driven by news content.
