“We need to earn an income. And R350 a month is nothing. We can't do anything with that,” he said.

In a letter addressed to Ramaphosa and all government departments, Clinton Baratt, the owner of Happy Events SA, said he would go to the apex court to challenge the president's “draconian” measures and “excessive abuse of power”.

He said he would challenge, among others, the regulation that prohibits travelling between provinces.

Abuse of power!? 😳....go ahead Mr Barrat, you clearly have money to pay the lawyers.

Everyone is threatening about court but no one is approaching it 🤣🤣🤣

There’s a difference between a grant and an income .... just ewallet me R350 now for nothing .... you’ll understand... it’s enough to buy food parcel 🤔

I truly understand the complainant since I just read the article 350 it's nothing for people who hustle each and everyday some of them manage to make this money in a day

South Africans never stop to amaze. They moan and complain about anything. They are never thankful and satisfied. Grow up please.

Look for a job baba half a loaf is better than none

We must stop this dependency syndrome...

The child grants are even getting more than the old age grant it's unfair that the unemployed who are working for themselves are getting a measly amount of money

Definitely, it doesn't even cover rent, groceries or what we can do with that money is to buy food from kfc, chicken licken 😂🤣🤣
