Deputy Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Bakri says ‘to wait for Friday’ after an MP asked if there will be another loan moratorium.
“The budget will be tabled this Friday. Due to that, whether it will be implemented or not, we have to wait,” Deputy Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Bakri said at the Dewan Rakyat today. Putrajaya had implemented a six-month blanket loan moratorium in March after the movement control order was implemented. It was replaced with a case-by-case extension by individual banks in September.
