Labor ‘firmly believes’ acquisition of nuclear subs is in Australia’s national interest

Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy says Labor firmly believes the acquisition of nuclear-powered submarines is in Australia’s national interest. “It will create 20,000 secure high-tech jobs, it’ll be the most advanced manufacturing in the world, it will contribute to our defence capability,” Mr Conroy told Sky News Australia.
