These new budget earbuds from JLab are tiny and small enough to hang on a keyring. The JBuds Mini have a reasonable specification but the audio codec is limited to SBC.

Audio brand JLab is making a small claim today that its latest pair of true wireless earbuds launching at, are the “smallest earbuds on the market.” That’s a bold claim. However, when you read the small print, it seems JLab’s JBuds Mini are the smallest true wireless earbuds of any major headphone brand. Major headphone brand is defined as the top 10 brand based on Circana/The NPD Group/Retail Tracking Service in 2022.

JLab claims that finding true wireless earbuds that provide a secure and comfortable fit is a common lament, especially among people with small ears. The JBuds Mini are 30% smaller than JLab's GO Air POP earbuds and ship with a charging case that’s incredibly small and light, including Apple's third-generation AirPods.

The JBuds Mini will be available on September 1, 2023. This is the first time JLab has released a new product globally. Until now, the brand has always introduced its products through retail channels in North America, with distribution in other regions following some months later. The charging case for the JBuds Mini is smaller than most car key fobs. Each earbud weighs only 3.3g and the charging case is 18.5g.
