The suspects then abandoned the victim with his face still covered near a Chinese cemetery at Jalan Bukit Ubi at about 1.30am on 3 May. From there, the 24-year-old managed to contact his girlfriend for help.Kuantan Police Chief ACP Wan Mohd Wan Busu, while confirming the case, said that all three masked suspects pretending to be police officers were Malay men, with their identities being investigated.
