As of September 15, FEMA will no longer reimburse PPE costs for schools, courthouses, and other businesses. Under new guidelines, FEMA will only pay for PPE that will prevent a "direct emergency," which includes direct medical care, mass casualty management , and some food services. obtained by NPR
