He added that during his tenure at OnePlus, the company has been his singular focus and everything else had to take a backseat. Carl didn’t reveal where he’s heading to next but said that he will take some time off to decompress and catch up with his family and friends.

During his tenure, the OnePlus 2 was the first product to be launched in VR, while the OnePlus Nord was said to be the first device to launch in full-fledged AR experience.at Nokia in 2010 before joining Meizu in 2011. The following year, he joined Oppo as the international markets manager and eventually founded OnePlus together with Pete Lau.
