But as the transition to electric, and lower-emission vehicles unfolds, all five major automakers in Canada have committed billions of dollars to retool their operations to produce lower emission vehicles.

GabeFriedz Ha - billion dollars doesn't hurt either

GabeFriedz If we can't manufacture regular vehicles why would they jump to produce EV's.

GabeFriedz Probably until the reality of the cost and limitations of range and charging kick in for the masses.. I suspect the public transit industry will do better than the auto industry when that happens.
