A spokesperson for the Calgary International Airport said no flights were cancelled out of YYC due to the issue, and any U.S. departure out of the airport was delayed until after 7:30 a.m. when the FAA lifted the ground stop. Airlines are encouraging travellers headed to or from the U.S. to check their flights before heading to the airport.

NOTAMs went offline on Tuesday night and was not fixed until about 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning. This led to an estimated 1,200 cancellations and 7,800 delays as of early afternoon.
