John Welch, formerly the Village of Schaumburg’s engineering division manager, left that position to start in August leading Lincolnwood’s public works department.Welsh previously served as the assistant director of public works for Downers Grove and was city engineer for Highland Park before that. He succeeds Nadim Badran, who left his post for the Village of Algonquin in April.
