NERC says Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited (ASCL) might be disconnected from the national grid over N1.2 billion in electricity debt.

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission says Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited might be disconnected from the national grid over N1.2 billion in electricity debt.

“The special customer did not make any payment towards the ₦1.27 billion and ₦0.09 billion invoices received in 2024/Q1,” NERC said.
