In a bid to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Isle of Man's government has said that anyone arriving on the island must self-isolate for two weeks, regardless of whether they have symptoms of the illness. They said that the man, 26, was in an area of custody which has been cleaned for the purposes of holding people who must self-isolate.

"The public health team has been in touch with the patient to provide advice and support, and will start contact tracing."
