— Mark Cuban That is Dallas Mavericks owner and billionaire Mark Cuban, explaining his skepticism about the market’s recent bullish tint, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cuban’s comments came as S&P 500 index SPX, +3.40% technically entered a bull market, having now risen 20% from the recent low put in on March 23. Amazon has gained 10.6% this year, while Amazon is up nearly 15% in the year to date, according to FactSet data. By comparison, the S&P 500 is down 15%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +3.44% is off 18%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, +2.58% is down 9.8% thus far in 2020.
