North Vancouver RCMP say a local business owner reported being duped out of $80,000 by one of his employees, who allegedly posted the refunds to her card while he was away on a trip. “The investigation is ongoing and officers anticipate recommending charges to B.C. Prosecution Service in the near future against the woman, who is no longer an employee of the business,” said RCMP Const. Mansoor Sahak in a release.
