“My family and I, we fly lots, and having less options is usually never a good thing,” said Blake Venechuk, who has four kids.
“That means you’re restricted to all those airlines and you don’t have a lot of options … that might drive the price of ticket up,” said Rubabat Oseni. “Carriers that were operating the same route on the same day in the same city, you know, that’s not going to happen,” he said. “There’s going to be some attention being paid by the federal government on the extent to which services are being reduced and flights are being consolidated and the impact of this consolidation on fares, so it’s not over yet,” he said.
