Work to rebuild Harrisburg’s Broad Street Market is facing a major setback as the city council voted 5-2 to reject the construction manager who was set to do the project.

Councilmembers, including Danielle Bowers and Jocelyn Rawls, cited 'equity issues' in the selection process for their justification for the rejection of Alexander Building Construction.
