PETALING JAYA: When S.L. Low went to the Pudu wet market last Sunday (Feb 23), she was taken aback to see a litter of mixed-breed puppies for sale.

"I know for a fact that that particular area of the market is known to sell exotic meats, as well as animals such as turtles, tortoises and monitor lizards, which can also be killed and cut-up upon request," she added."They were dirty and starving," said Low adding that the puppies were about two-months-old.

The adoption drive, which is from 12.00pm to 6.00pm, is being held at The Square, Jaya One, Jalan 13/6, Petaling Jaya.
