BREAKING: Self-employed could get up to 80% of monthly earnings

as more and more people began to self-isolate due to Covid-19. Questions remained over how many self-employed people would put food on the table until a new amendment submitted by Liberal Democrat MP Munira Wilson give them peace of mind.

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said: ‘There now needs to be clear guidance to employers and workers about which workplaces should close – and the Government must close the loopholes to give security to all workers, including the self-employed, as well as renters and mortgage holders.’ ‘But the stark reality is that millions of workers are confused about whether or not they can or should be at work.

But accountant and political economist Richard Murphy was not so sure the amendment would be accepted in its current form.

Why are you posting this as 'breaking' when the amendment was NOT passed YESTERDAY at committee stage? I may have misread Hansard so I'll stand corrected if wrong but otherwise you're spreading misinformation.
