Twenty-one motorists found themselves sweeping sections of the major market in the Adamawa State capital, Yola, on Monday as punishment for being on the street amidst a lockdown order.
The court consequently ordered them to sweep the Jimeta Modern Market, the largest commercial centre in the state capital. The Adamawa State Government had first imposed a lockdown on the state between March 31 and April 14.
