The COVID-19 pandemic has crushed the Island’s second-biggest industry. Tourism-based businesses, workers and communities across Canada are preparing for a bleak year, as the crisis curtails travel and makes large gatherings impossible. Wish it were affordable to vacation on the east coast. I would go every year. Instead, we go to Cuba, Antigua, Mexico etc. for a quarter of the cost. Something the East Coast should look into.

So is every other tourist industry on the planet. Don’t rely on one source of income as we are told in Alberta

If tue prices would be more affordable then more Canadians would do local tourism. It's not normal that a week in PEI would cost me as.much as a week in Disneyland. Seriously!
