Beijing's largest wholesale food market is closed behind police guard and the surrounding neighborhood locked down after more than 50 people tested positive for the coronavirus. The capital had gone more than 50 days with no local reported cases.

Chinese paramilitary police stand guard at barricaded entrances to the Xinfadi wholesale food market district in Beijing, Saturday, June 13, 2020. Beijing closed the city's largest wholesale food market Saturday after the discovery of seven cases of the new coronavirus in the previous two days.

Authorities locked down 11 residential communities near the Xinfadi market, about 3 kilometers southeast of the Temple of Heaven tourist site. Police officers could be seen maneuvering white fencing into place to seal off a road leading to a cluster of apartment buildings. Beijing officials said 45 workers at the market tested positive for the coronavirus, though they showed no symptoms. That was in addition to seven earlier cases of people with symptoms, including six who had visited or worked at the market. China does not include asymptomatic cases in its official case count.

City officials then decided to test all the workers at the market for the coronavirus. They also ordered the testing of food and environmental samples from all the city’s wholesale food markets, and food safety inspections at restaurants and supermarkets.

They dropped this on purpose because of us stock market

Watch us do NOTHING here in the US with this information that new outbreaks could occur, instead of studying how and why. Instead of trying to combat that in our own country, we just place blame.

In China, where there is a strong active defense and a high degree of personal consciousness, everything is a small problem. If it happened in the United States, it would be a disaster. You may not understand, who let you know nothing about the outside world and science.

If you believe that ap, I have some swampland in the desert to sell you

Do you really think there was only 50 cases in a country of 1.5 billion

wa!

A deeper look would tell you this is about the food shortage and the people rushing to grocery stores and buying up after one of Chinas provinces who normally supplies 25% of the grain annually is reporting much smaller yields. But the great CCP would never tell you that

smh who next

There are some new photos

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IT?

But China said they had no new Covid-19 cases?
