A congressional lawmaker tested positive for the coronavirus after getting second dose of Pfizer vaccine

"U.S. Representative Stephen F. Lynch received a positive test result for COVID-19 after a staff member in the Congressman's Boston office had tested positive earlier in the week," Molly Rose Tarpey, Lynch's communications director, said in a statement to Business Insider. "While Mr. Lynch remains asymptomatic and feels fine, he will self-quarantine and will vote by proxy in Congress during the coming week," she said, adding,"Congressman Lynch had received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine and subsequently received a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending President Biden's Inauguration," which took place January 20.for the body to develop immunity to the coronavirus after vaccination.

"That means it's possible a person could be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 just before or just after vaccination and still get sick," the agency said."This is because the vaccine has not had enough time to provide protection."at preventing COVID-19 seven days after the second shot is administered.

No surprise. The vaccine's websites clearly state that the vaccines cannot prevent spread of COVID or create immunity but is designed to decrease severity of symptoms if a person catches COVID.

insidernews This shouldn’t be a surprise as the vaccine only works to prevent serious illness. Plainly put, you can still be a carrier and not know it.

I think there will be a slight drop in the share price after this news.
