The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Mohammed Aliyu has said that the police have arrested five suspects in connection with the violent disturbances at New Artisan Market, Enugu.

Also, the commissioner said that he has ordered an investigation into the incident to bring to justice all miscreants whose acts of violence disrupted human and economic activities at the market.Spokesman of the police in the state, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, said this in a statement issued Saturday in Enugu.
