Communications and Digital Technologies Minister Khumbudzo Ntshavheni has expressed confidence in the country’s plans to launch its own communications satellite into orbit.

Communications and Digital Technologies Minister, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni has expressed confidence in the country’s plans to launch its own communications satellite into orbit.

A commission established by President Cyril Ramaphosa has previously recommended that government build and launch a geostationary telecommunications satellite, which would offer its services to the entire Southern African Development Community region.“We’ve started to engage with industries and those who use satellite technology to say how do we pull resources together so that we can have this. We already have, as a country, capacity through the space-tech to manage satellite.

So….everything going to cost more now….or we “lose” even more money through non-delivery of “covid” jabs…none existent tenders… taxation on spirits and cigarettes…and any other excuse they can come up with…. ALWAYS gets charged back to the people’s….

Lord help us. New satelite black market opening soon!!!! Who wants to bet satellite parts or money for the satelite will be stolen. Or it might just be set alight by a homeless person😂😂😂

You don't have technology to not even launch but to develop a satellite. So oskare nyela.

Unbelievable story,🤔,SA is potential on standing on its own.

Can we please look at access to network within remote areas. Network reception in Nqamakwe is not the same as Network reception in East London for example and that is holding us back Khu_Ntshavheni. Before we get to orbit. Thank you
