Tech stocks continued to sell off on Thursday, as investors dumped more megacap tech names. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite lost 0.7% Thursday after suffering its worst session since 2022 the day before. Chip stocks drove much of the volatility, moving lower Wednesday on reports of tougher export restrictions from the U.S. Investor-favorites Nvidia and U.S.-listed shares of Taiwan Semiconductor sank more than 6% and nearly 8% during the session, respectively.
