In a written reply, the Finance Ministry also revealed that out of 15 government statutory bodies under the ministry, only two were politicians.
Others include Datuk Jalaluddin Alias as UDA Holdings Bhd chairman, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid as the Tenaga Nasional Berhad chairman. Libaran MP Datuk Zakaria Mohd Edris was appointed as Perbadanan Nasional Bhd chairman, while Ahmad Johnie Zawawi had been appointed as the Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd chairman.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor and Juhari Bulat were appointed to positions in the federal government's statutory body.
