For 2022, I want a handsome, tall, rich husband. I want a man who is mature, healthy, strong, compassionate, fit, fun, funny and faith-filled. He can cook, is very good in bed, has kids of his own — this way I won’t have to have any — and he loves to travel.
Too often, when people ask what you want for your life in the new year, so many of us lean toward something that is safe. Something that is culturally excepted. Something that is a societal norm. Well, I have decided that I am going to ask for what I want — and not settle until I get it. In 2022, I want to see the greatness in me that everybody else sees consistently. Moment to moment, day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year — I want to unapologetically believe that I am as magnificent as my bio says I am. Yes, I’ve achieved a lot, and it took a lot of work to become the Jully Black you all know me to be. However, if one does notas great as what the page says, you have to wonder what the point is.
