Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub visited the market after receiving complaints from the public on the matter. Read:

The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister said he had received complaints from the public about Larkin market traders selling goods at unreasonable prices.

"I have told enforcement officers to take appropriate action, whether it is a just a warning or to take more stern action if it is a repeated offence," he said at the Larkin market here on Friday . "We have conducted similar checks at several other locations and have yet to come across other such cases.
