Finance union Sasbo has threatened a"total shutdown" of the banking industry next month if their demands for minimal retrenchments in the sector are not heeded.
He said Standard Bank planned to retrench 6,000 employees, Nedbank 3,000 employees and Absa 878 employees.
Sabotaging the economy by holding employers ransom to pay people money for whom they do not have work. When ideology trumps common sense and economic principles in an already bankrupted economy....
Effectively they demand that the corporate world keep employing people they have no work for. But then again, if you support communist ideals it probably sounds normal to them.
